Emmanuel Mignot, MD, PhD, is the Craig Reynolds Professor of Sleep Medicine at Stanford Medicine and directs the Stanford Center for Narcolepsy. Stanford credits his research with establishing the biological cause of narcolepsy; he is a laureate of the Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences and a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Medicine.
